Rakitic has been at Barcelona since 2014

Barca are currently revamping their midfield, having signed Arthur Melo and Arturo Vidal last summer and with Frenkie de Jong set to arrive at the end of the season. It leaves Rakitic's future in doubt, with Chelsea and Inter among those keeping tabs on the 30-year-old. (Sport)
James Rodriguez has his heart set on a return to Real Madrid. The Colombian, who has been on loan at Bayern Munich since the start of last season, is on the radar of Arsenal and Juventus but the player favours the opportunity to re-establish himself in the Spanish capital. (Marca)
Atletico Madrid have stepped up their pursuit of Benfica full-back Alex Grimaldo, who is also a Manchester City and Arsenal transfer target. The 23-year-old, who came close to joining Napoli last summer, has scored four goals and added five assists and was on target in Benfica's 10-0 annihilation of Nacional at the weekend.
