Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettinomay have done Arsenal a favour after the north London derby by saving Lucas Torreira from himself.
The Gunners midfielder was shown a straight red card in the 95th minute of the game after a misjudged challenge on Danny Rose.
Torreira left the field but was waiting in the tunnel to vent his frustrations to referee Anthony Taylor after the match.
The Evening Standard report that this is where Pochettino stepped in, advising the Uruguayan is Spanish not to make things any worse.

Torreira will now miss Arsenal’s next three fixtures, against Manchester United, Everton and Newcastle, although he remains available for the Europa League clash with Rennes on Thursday.

Despite the decision, which some felt was harsh on the 23-year-old, Gunners boss Unai Emery refused to condemn the referee after the game, although suggested mistakes were made.
‘The referee’s personality today was good today. Mistakes can come, it’s difficult for them,’ Emery said in a press conference.
‘VAR Is coming to help them.’
