Juventus 0-0 Atletico Madrid, LIVE (0-2 agg): Cristiano Ronaldo and Co look to overturn two goal deficit in Champions League second leg in Turin

Juventus have it all to do on home soil as they take on Atletico Madrid in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 clash.
The Italian champions fell to a disappointing defeat at the Wanda Metropolitano, with late goals from Jose Gimenez and Diego Godin giving Diego Simeone's side a promising advantage at the halfway point of the tie.
Juventus' failure to grab an away goal in Spain also leaves them susceptible to being in a situation where they have to score at least four goals if they fail to keep a clean sheet at the Allianz Stadium. Follow all the action which kicks off from 8pm with Sportsmail's Joe Strange.
And we're off!
The Champions League anthem and handshakes are done, now it's time to get down to business. Juve's fans are up for this, cheering their heroes and booing Atletico.
The hosts get us underway in Turin.
Here come the teams
Lots of handshakes in the tunnel as the teams line up alongside each other. Godin and Chiellini - two proper defenders - will lead Atletico and Juve out. Here we go.

The pre-match light show has the Juventus fans believing anything is possible. Cristiano fever is at an all-time high and if anyone knows what it is like to score against Atletico it is him. 22 goals against them - don’t bet against him haunting Diego Simeone’s men again. Not a Juve fan in sight who isn’t confident they are turning this around tonight.
Can Ronaldo inspire Juventus to one of the great European comebacks?

Giorgio Chiellini is making his 500th appearance for Juventus tonight and he will need a much better evening than he had in the first leg in Madrid.

Atmosphere really building now. The Curva Sud ultras cancelled their protest to ensure a sell-out tonight and they are making plenty of noise already. After their 4-0 defeat to Dortmund in the group stage,  Atletico will be wary of letting this crowd get on top of them tonight.

Ronaldo confident ahead of kick-off

Cristiano Ronaldo is hoping his dedication and passion for football will help Juventus to revive their Champions League hopes.
Juve head into Tuesday night's last 16, second leg clash with Atletico Madrid in Turin trailing 2-0 after late goals from Jose Gimenez and Diego Godin handed the Spaniards a significant advantage.
Ronaldo said: 'Everyone knows that they are a strong team, they defend very well, they don't take a lot of risks and they play on the counter-attack, but we are ready, and we will do everything we can to beat them.'

Champions League last-16 results so far

Tottenham, Manchester United, Ajax and Porto are already in the quarter-finals, with Juventus, Atletico Madrid, Manchester City and Schalke battling to join them tonight.
The first knockout stage comes to an end tomorrow evening when Bayern Munich host Liverpool and Lyon travel to Barcelona. Both ties are finely poised at 0-0.

Flashback to the first leg in Madrid
The ball brushed off of Cristiano Ronaldo and hit the back of the net… the Juventus net. His return to Madrid ended in a 2-0 defeat that goes a long way to end his dream of winning a sixth Champions League back in the Spanish capital next May.
Twice Atletico Madrid believed they had possibly edged ahead of Juventus but twice their supporters were silenced by VAR. They kept going and when Jose Gimenez scuffed the loose ball over the line on 78 minutes there were flailing arms and falling bodies everywhere but no one had broken any rules and for all Juventus' complaints the goal stood.
Anything one Uruguayan centre-back could do, the other one - Diego Godin - could do just as well and his Ronaldo assisted second leaves Juventus with a mountain to climb in next month's second leg. Jan Oblak saved brilliantly at the end from Federico Bernardeschi and Ronaldo headed agonisingly wide but it finished 2-0.

Atletico beware

ADAM SHERGOLD: Ordinarily, entering the second leg of a Champions League knockout tie with a two-goal advantage should almost be enough to guarantee safe passage.
A whopping 81 per cent of teams who have won the first leg by such a margin have progressed, so you'd think the odds are stacked in favour of Atletico Madrid, who hold such an advantage over Juventus.
But they'll step out at the Allianz Stadium with a sense of trepidation because of the presence of just one man lining up against them.
Ronaldo has played 32 matches against Atletico during his career, has scored 22 goals and contributed eight assists.
Of all the clubs he has faced, only Sevilla (27 goals) and Getafe (23) have suffered more.

Juventus in the money

It's a big night for Juventus on the pitch - and off it too.
The Serie A giants will rake in around £5million from tonight's match - the most they have ever earned from a single home game in the competition.
Or if you prefer, enough to pay Ronaldo's wages for about nine weeks...
