Real Madrid 'ready to splash £300m to get Neymar out of PSG' and will make him highest paid player in the world
- Real Madrid are preparing to launch a £300m move to sign PSG star Neymar
- The club's president wants to take action after their disappointing campaign
- Madrid are also willing to make Neymar the highest paid player in the world
The Brazilian has long been on Madrid's radar and now the club's president Florentino Perez is putting everything in to try and lure him to the Bernabeu.
Perez has lost patience with giving youth a chance and is ready to take action following Madrid's humiliating exit from the Champions League against Ajax earlier this week.
Real Madrid are 'ready to launch a £300million move to sign Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar'
SPORT have reported that Madrid will make the mega-money move in the summer window
SPORT claim that Madrid are weighing-up a world record £300m offer to sign Neymar and are willing to pay him £40m over five seasons - eclipsing the wages of the highest earner in world football Lionel Messi.
Madrid fans are desperate for a big-name player to fill the boots of Cristiano Ronaldo, who was never replaced in the summer after his £100m switch to Juventus.
It is understood Perez is confident of sealing a deal for Neymar despite PSG's reluctance to let their star man leave the club and has identified him as his No 1 target with Chelsea's Eden Hazard also an option.
Reports have suggested that Neymar still does not feel settled in the French capital and may be considering his future after watching his ambition of winning the Champions League with PSG die for another a season following the 3-1 defeat by Manchester United on Wednesday.
The feeling is PSG will not be able to resist Madrid's offer as it would aid them in settling their Financial Fair Play (FFP) concerns - UEFA are still yet to decide whether to investigate if they breached rules following the publication of documents by the Football Leaks website last year.
Madrid have however accepted that a deal to sign Kylian Mbappe is unrealistic at this stage and are not expected to make a bid for him this summer.
