Reports: After Marcelo, Juventus target yet another former Cristiano Ronaldo teammate from Real Madrid

The situation in Real Madrid seems to get worse with each passing day, other teams now trying to make use of the air of misery over the Bernabeu to lure away some of their best players.
It has only been three days since Marcelo has been linked to Juventus, and now the Turin-based club reportedly wants to take it a step forward by signing another Madrid star.
AS reports that the Serie-A champions are now in pursuit of Sergio Ramos, the Real Madrid captain. The current conditions are more conducive than ever before for the move to materialise, given Madrid’s slump and Jose Mourinho’s speculated arrival at the club next season, among other things.
Ramos famously clashed with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez after the Champions League elimination at the hands of Ajax last week, wherein the former threatened to leave the club when the latter accused him of complacency.
But despite the row, such a move was not really expected to happen, but if Mourinho comes in as part of the Los Blancos’ effort to revive themselves next summer, it may force a “change of heart” for the former World Champion, according to AS.
The centerback is not a fan of Mourinho, as evident from the rift that existed between the duo during Mourinho’s managerial days at the Spanish capital between 2010 and 2013.
Meanwhile, at Juventus, the management is trying hard to bolster their backine that currently includes veterans Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonnucci. It is expected that bringing in Cristiano Ronaldo’s former teammates to Turin would work wonders as far as their team chemistry is concerned.
While the Bianconeris have virtually no opposition to challenge for the Serie A, they have failed to make a big impact in the Champions League – which is exactly what the Old Lady will expect to change, starting next season.
